SHORT FILMS CREATED FROM YOUR HOME VIDEOS, FILMS, PHOTOS

You tell me the occasion, give me your digitized photos, transferred super 8mm films, video clips, VHS recordings in digitized format, etc. We discuss the music choice. I can work with your music or suggest royalty-free music that fits the occasion and the desired style. We create an editing plan.
I will provide you with your film in 10 days. You are allowed two revisions. Further changes are also possible for an additional charge.
FILMING OF FAMILY GATHERINGS, IMPORTANT FAMILY EVENTS

As a one-person crew, I will capture your family’s important events, i.e. birthdays, graduation dinners, baby showers, wedding anniversaries, etc. We discuss the key moments in advance and I can film as a fly on the wall (given my documentary background) or I can interact with the participants, it is up to you.
After the event, I can hand you the unedited footage or I can create a short film (for a separate fee) that captures the essence of the event.
FAMILY HISTORY FILMS

I film you or your family members sharing your family history. Either I can conduct the interview based on preliminary research and preparation with you, or I can film you asking the questions.
The complexity of the film can vary depending on the length and the visual materials included. I can incorporate family videos, archival films, photos, and music. Or I can just edit the interview emphasizing the main points. The length can be anywhere from 10 minutes up to 2 hours.
Price: as this is a unique process, different with every family, let’s discuss it.
PRICES
SHORT FILMS FROM HOME VIDEOS, PHOTOS
$390 up to 3 minutes. You provide up to 100 photos and/or 30 minutes of film or video already digitized. You can provide 50 additional photos and/or 10 minutes of video for every extra minute.
$130/each additional minute
FAMILY EVENT VIDEOS
$500 up to five hours filming, travel time included, all video and sound gear is provided by me.
$100/each additional hour
